Convert Case

Adjust the letter formatting to uppercase, lowercase, title case, sentence case, or capitalize the first letter.

Overview

This is a straightforward tool that allows you to adjust the letter casing of text, enabling transformations between uppercase, lowercase, title case, sentence case, and capitalized formats.

Case Styles

There are six different case styles available:

  • Uppercase - This style consists of capital letters only and is often used in headings and special situations where text emphasis is necessary.

  • Lowercase - This style uses only lowercase letters.

  • Each Word - In this style, the first letter of each word is capitalized. It is often used in blog post titles (see Title Case).

  • Title Case - A variation of the "Each Word" case style where the first letter of each word is capitalized, except for certain short words.

  • AP Title Case - Similar to Title Case, this style capitalizes each word, with exceptions for articles, prepositions, or conjunctions with fewer than 4 letters.

  • Sentence Case - This style capitalizes the first word of each sentence.

  • Shuffle - A mixed-case style where the letter casing is randomized. This is often used for stylistic purposes.
